The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)Perform high quality echocardiograms and stress echos and general ultrasound including abdomen and OB/GYN and vascular studies in accordance with all policies and procedures.Competently set up and assist radiologist and pathologist during procedures.Working with the EMR's to generate and complete exam orders.Perform, record, and analyze QC data in order to make judgments concerning the results and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision.Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by performing equipment checks, cleaning work area, and monitoring temperatures in accordance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies. QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEGraduate from an accredited school of ultrasoundRDCS registered, preferred or obtain after hireRVT registrations, preferred or obtain after hireRDMS(AB,OB-GYN) , preferred or obtain after hireBLS required, or obtain within 6 months of hireSKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to maintain safe and effective patient careStrong written and verbal communications skills with prevalent professional demeanorAbility to use active listening skills to interpret the needs of the patient. Ability to mentor, train, motivate, direct and empower teamAbility to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentationAbility to work independentlyFlexibility in schedule.
