Compensation : $59 - $59 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 139494 Shift Description : Day shifts - 36 hours (weekends rotating) Travel Computed Tomography - Technologist Duluth, Georgia, United States - 30026Job Title: Travel Computed Tomography Technologist Number of positions: 1 Shift: Day shifts- 36 hours (weekends rotating) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/18/2023 Hourly Pay: $59 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,213 JOB DESCRIPTION Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies. Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes. Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients. Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions. Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues. Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality. Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Radiology Technology One year of radiology cardio experience COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster Current GA license and BLS, ARRT CT Certification Skills/Abilities Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Attends Nurses Association meetings. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
