**Inventory Control Coordinator - Facilities-TTH Engineering - Full Time - Days**

**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Facilities Inventory Control Coordinator position performs physical, clerical and inventory related tasks in facility management logistics involving receiving, storage, delivery and replenishment of supplies, parts and equipment used throughout the hospital campuses and offsite maintained properties to promote Facilities Maintenance.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

1. Monitors parts/equipment inventories and replenishes according. Proactively rotates part stock and identifies obsolete inventory to reduce outdated supplies.

2. Assists with the care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.

3. Verifies and receives incoming materials and equipment. Prepares documents to process requests for equipment service and repairs.

4. Organizes and maintains records pertinent to stockroom levels, supply quantities issued and other data; recommends modifications to parts inventories to department leadership.

5. Maintains established parts stockroom documents and files, along with quality and safety equipment applicable to the facilities management department.

6. Prepares and expedites purchase orders (PO) and work with Purchasing to maintain up-to-date PO activity on orders.

7. Works with our system facilities teams when needed for purchasing needs.

8. Must be able to professionally represent the department when meeting with vendors and suppliers.

9. Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries: requires effective interpersonal skills.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education:** High School Diploma or G.E.D.

**Skills:** Organizational skills, Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tools and parts. Knowledge of computer-based systems or capacity to learn software programs.

**Years of Experience:** 3+ years of materials management, equipment, and logistics.
