Job Description

Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability.

Maximum Hours Per Week: 20

Duties of Position: Have successfully completed ENG 101 with a recommendation from their instructor

Demonstrated ability to communicate with faculty and peers

Aptitude for utilizing technology for organizing information and materials

Desire to help faculty and students work together to improve student success

Student leaders will be paid based on the hourly student worker wage plus stipends for trainings and related work. A laptop computer will also be provided to each student leader with the option of keeping the laptop upon completion a minimum of three semesters of work with the program.

Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)

The Center for Student Success provides study skills, test taking tips, time management, motivation, concentration, math and reading strategies and note taking skills to all Harper Students to ensure a successful education while taking classes.
