Assistant Project Manager - Military veterans preferred

A South Orange County property management company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead and support their growing team. The desired candidate should be knowledgeable relative to construction practices and sequence, preferred experience in procurement processes, cost estimating and project management principles.

Work includes building inspections, product research and analysis, reporting, budgeting, design review, contractor soliciting, bid comparison, as well as providing oversight for building component replacements, tenant improvements,renovations, and ground up construction.

The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and the pay starts at $34-$40/hour, based on experience. This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity.

Project Manager Qualifications:

• Preferred education includes a bachelor degree in project management, civil engineering or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
• Proficient in the use of computer software programs such as MS Office, Bluebeam, CADD and/or SketchUp
• Knowledge of methods of report and design document presentation.
• Ability to coordinate the work of contractors in a manner conducive to full performance.
• Ability to analyze and interpret research findings.
• Ability to write and orally present clear and concise reports, scopes of work and specifications.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $34.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
