The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit(s). The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or departments daily operations.
The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

At Mercy Hospital, our 13-bed OB Post-Partum department stands as a cornerstone of quality care that delivers approximately 80 babies each month. Serving as the sole Labor and Delivery unit in Durango, Colorado, we cater to a diverse range of patient needs, encompassing LDRP services, C-section circulatory and PACU recovery, antepartum care, OB triage, and outpatient procedures.
