We are looking for a full time Veterinary Medical Director to join our team in Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, and be experienced in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, as well as managing the veterinary staff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to animals
- Manage the veterinary staff
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret laboratory tests
- Administer medications and treatments
- Maintain medical records
- Communicate with clients about their pets' health
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree
- At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
