GL Staff Accountant - Military veterans preferred

CV Resources has partnered with a renowned hospitality group in Boise on the search for a General Ledger Accountant Reporting to the CFO and Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accounting activities for various corporate entities within the organization. Collaboration with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other team members is key to success in this GL Accountant role. Our client offers competitive compensation with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, a 401K retirement plan with a matching contribution, and bonus incentives such as a parking reimbursement This is a fully onsite position in downtown Boise, ID Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts using MS Business Central 365. Generate monthly financial statements for multiple entities. Assist in identifying, tracking, and recording inter-company transactions. Support annual budgeting processes and produce final reports. Prepare month-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP using Jet Reports and MS Business Central. Handle bi-monthly payroll calculations using Paylocity Payroll system. Reconcile insurance benefits and payroll deductions. Record new capital assets and manage depreciation. Analyze transaction data to identify potential budget variances. Manage monthly Cost of Goods Sold and Idaho Sales & Use Tax postings. Assist with month-end and year-end closings. Maintain prepaid and accrual schedules. Support annual external audits. Participate in meetings and training sessions as required. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or relevant field. Strong technical accounting skills. Proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable with prolonged periods of desk work. Reliable and trustworthy with confidential information.
