**Position Summary:** The Inventory Business Analyst partners with Illuminas global and local supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels. The ideal candidate can analyze data, communicate data, and collaborate

with colleagues to drive change. The candidate will embody Illumina's values of innovation, collaboration and moving fast. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain safety stock/EOQ calculation tools * Partner with buyers and planners to review and update safety stock/EOQ levels on a periodic basis * Design and maintain inventory reports and dashboards (Excel/Tableau) * Partner with Supply Chain managers/buyers/planners

to review and optimize inventory levels * Present inventory analysis to executives and make recommendations * Perform quarterly Excess & Obsolescence analysis and present to executives * Perform SOX related inventory controls ****Requirements:**** * Minimum 3+ years relevant experience * Experience analyzing and communicating data * Good understanding and practical experience with inventory and supply chain concepts in an MRP environment * Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, communication, and leadership skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Experience in an Operations/Supply Chain environment preferred * GAAP and SOX knowledge preferred * Six Sigma/Lean experience a plus **Education**: * Bachelor's degree required * MBA/Masters in relevant discipline
