Essential Duties and Responsibilities for RN Supervisor:
Assesses patients by physical examination including diagnostic testing to determine health status.
Administer medication and treatments
Participates in care planning and oversees the implementation of the plan
Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition
Documents nurse assessments and care
Educates patients and families in nursing care
Supervises the nursing department
Requirements of a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
:
Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR Certification
Prior experience as an RN supervisor in a long term care setting
