The average weekday shift length ranges from 3.5 to 5.5 hours, while weekend shifts typically range from 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Weekend shifts start at 4:00 pm on Fridays and end at 7:00 am on Mondays. It is essential that candidates are available the afternoon before their first shift for EHR training and orientation, which typically lasts around 3 to 4 hours.
