We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in our Lexington, Kentucky headquarters.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Responsible for financial and tax reporting for multiple entities, both domestic and international.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, including journal entries, reconciliations, and other typical, period-end accounting schedules.
  • Identify and resolve issues within sub-systems (such as fixed assets, intercompany balances, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.) to assure and improve accurate and timely output.
  • Maintain, and where needed, develop, and implement systems, procedures and policies consistent with ethical and sound accounting and internal control practices and company policies and guidelines to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials.
  • Manage online treasury product and cash balances daily.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and other departments to ensure that timely and appropriate information is communicated effectively and solicit ideas for improvement.
  • Provide support for the annual financial audit, tax filings, and any other periodic reviews and inspections (such as government audits, project-specific audits, etc.).
  • Responsible for department-level overhead budgeting process and reporting.


Qualifications

Who we want… (Requirements)

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in an accounting/finance/business related field and a minimum three to five years of relevant experience. If other than an accounting degree, significant, college-level accounting coursework is a requirement. Experience managing a team is highly preferred.

Experience with CMIC Software and international accounting a plus.
