We are currently recruiting for a Senior Safety Specialist. As a Senior Stafety Specialist, you will drive the identification, assessment, analysis, and solving of a broad spectrum of safety issues at your assigned worksite.

What you will do in the position:

  • Supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of safety programs.
  • Develops and presents safety update training and orientations.
  • Conducts accident/injury investigations and documents appropriately.
  • Maintains site safety records.
  • Ensures employee compliance with CAL OSHA Standards.
  • Ensure that all employees consistently follow established safety protocols.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employee safety inquiries, concerns, and/or suggestions.
  • Attends safety meetings, walks, and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks.
  • Educates employees on safety standards and expectations.
  • Stays current with industry best practices, safety trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies risk and collaborates to identify mitigation solutions.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 5+ years of occupational safety experience or relevant safety experience.
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • Experience with strategic thinking, prioritization, and initiation of tasks.
  • Experience with proper writing, speaking, and presenting to all levels of employee.

Pay Range: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
