Description:

The Key Account Manager will interact with commercial and technical key contacts to support the relationship with customers. Responsibilities include account management, new business development and company representation at customer sites.


  • Marketing intelligence
  • Develop new customers
  • Develop replacement plans for existing programs
  • Study competition and look for new opportunities
  • Prepare company presentations
  • Participate in shows
  • Participate in early sourcing agreements and meetings
  • Prepare new program proposal
  • Technical reviews for new programs
  • Participate in quote feasibility reviews
  • Quotes preparation, including price break-down documents
  • Review quotes and price break-down documents with customer
  • Get feedback from customers regarding programs not awarded
  • Obtain customer letter of intent
  • Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with at least 3 years combined manufacturing, accounting, and sales experience
  • Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings
  • Ability to effectively deal with customer purchasing team and functional groups
  • Intermediate computer literacy, specifically Excel
  • Intermediate math and business writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage projects to successful completion
  • Ability to learn new programs, activities and tasks
  • Good oral/written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to facilitate small group meetings
  • Strong organizational, planning and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
