Description

The purpose of your role as a CAD Operator

As a CAD Operator, you will operate all computer aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment and exercises considerable skill in the use of graphics commands and preprogrammed material to develop drawings for equipment, sheet metal, and piping.

Drawings:

  • Create quick actions utilizing the command language of the system to assist in drawing creation.
  • Additionally, will need to be able to specify materials for projects

Knowledge and Analysis:

  • Perform routine to complex assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer aided drafting system standards, practices and techniques.
  • Develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity, and learns how to use all software options
  • Analyze sketches, notes, and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings
  • Apply judgment and makes decisions with respect to drawings and input interpretation
  • Review work performed to determine accuracy with input from supervisor

What we're looking for in you

  • 2+ years of CAD related knowledge/experience or currently enrolled in CAD related training program
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of the Construction industry preferred
  • Associates degree in CAD related program preferred

Pay Range: $17.62 - $26.42

The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
