Responsibilities

You will report to the Customer Care - Sales Manager.

You will be responsible for sales to legacy customers within the West Region of the US.

On a given day, you may:

  • Strengthen the relationship between JBT FoodTech and its customers by proposing solutions to customer issues using our customer care organization and resources.
  • Increase sales of parts, providing pricing, availability, and service kit and upgrade project offerings.
  • Provide direction on parts promotion and sales volume improvement.
  • Use sales enablement tools (share of wallet calculator, Salesforce funnel management and activity tracking) to maintain JBT sales within the territory and report out results.
  • Be the go-to resource for any problems arising from the sale of JBT parts
  • Nurture and maintain positive working relationships with important customers.
  • Work with Service Managers, Parts Managers, Project Management and Sales to promote and grow parts, projects and ProCare sales within the territory.

Requirements for the role

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales to OEM customers
  • 8 years' experience in territory sales of food processing equipment
  • Manage within time constraints across a diverse group of people.
  • Present options to all levels of company representatives
  • Work with other teams
  • Collect and analyze appropriate data to determine strength of opportunities and best use of resources.

Travel & Location

  • You will work remotely from home office and travel to customer sites within the West Region.
  • #LI-Remote
  • Requires travel approximately 50% of the time (overnight, weekends on occasion)
  • Role is responsible for sales within the West RegionCalifornia, Washington, Oregan, Arizona, New Mexico, Dakotas, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to the West Region
