Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm of professional engineers, architects, environmental scientists, planners, and landscape architects, is currently seeking an organized, hardworking, and self-motivated Environmental Engineer for a full-time position in our Glastonbury, CT office.

Responsibilities will include a mixture of office and field activities and may involve the following: environmental monitoring and sampling (including stormwater and landfills), Phase I & II environmental site assessments, remedial action plans and oversight, permitting and regulatory compliance assistance, report writing, engineering design, and other environmental consulting tasks on a wide variety of projects. The ability to effectively multi-task and work both independently and in team environments are important qualities for this position.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
• 2-5+ years of environmental consulting or equivalent relevant experience.
• Applicants that have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam in Connecticut preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout Connecticut on a routine basis
• Ability to work in the field, and at times, during adverse weather conditions.
• Demonstrated experience in environmental engineering, field sampling and data collection, industrial and construction stormwater compliance, MS4 compliance, SPCC Plans, knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with GIS and Microsoft Access is a plus.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER is preferred.

Estimated Pay Range: $75,000 - $88,000/year.

Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
