ECHO is looking for a detailed, analytical, and customer-centric Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative Sales Operations Team!

This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales team with general operations to help reach the team's objectives.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new customers by promptly collecting required information, tracking approvals, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee various programs and requirements to ensure alignment with business and customer expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team, addressing inquiries requiring follow-up with customers or other departments.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and drive them to resolution.
  • Generate customer discounts, rebates, sales expenses, open accounts receivable, and accruals for budget tracking.
  • Participate in sales operations development and attend regularly scheduled meetings with various departments including Sales, Accounting, and Customer Service.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, document processes, and collaborate across functions to implement changes as needed.
Job Experience/Skills:
  • Prior sales support or account management experience a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
