A facility is seeking a gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage. Discover the rich agricultural heritage of the Yakima Valley with visits to local wineries, orchards, and farms. Explore the outdoor beauty of nearby destinations like Mount Rainier National Park and the Yakima River Canyon. This is an elective/outpatient endoscopy coverage request - but the procedures will be done in an inpatient OR setting. There will be up to 15 cases scheduled each day/8-hour shift. There will be one room with two RNs (one providing sedation; and one circulating). The start time 7:30am. The clinician is responsible for communicating biopsy results for all procedures to the patient directly or routed through the designated clinic MA. The clinician must coordinate additional steps to include referrals, follow-ups, and additional imaging as may be necessary. Candidates must be board-certified and hold an active WA license (or IMLC with LOQ) to apply.
