Job Description:

This position ensures all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linen is processed to meet the expectations of Omni standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Work laundry chute area and maintain neat, clean and sorted at all times.
  • Receive and clear all linen and fill laundry bins accordingly.
  • Weigh linen and record poundage.
  • Transport clean/dirty linen bins for pick up/ drop off, as well as, via golf cart to Villas and Sunset Lodge.
  • Stock linen closets on guest room floors.
  • Maintain all floors swept and mopped.
  • Communicate with supporting departments.
  • Participate in Monthly linen inventories.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • To ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications:
  • Able to maintain a 4- diamond level of service.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment where pushing, pulling and reaching are part of daily activities.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with fellow associates, guest and vendors.
  • Must be able to read and understand daily work assignments.
  • Read weight scale and record pounds loading and unloading.
  • Able to load and unload laundry bins and push/pull up to 600lbs.
  • Repetitive bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule which includes working on weekends and holidays.
