Description:

The EPG (Electric Power Generation) Service coordinator is responsible for efficiencies by coordinating work orders and parts to insure team members have the items needed to perform task efficiently and to help grow Riggs EPG business.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Open and close work orders promptly
  • Review technician time to close work orders
  • Prepare quotes to send to customers
  • Work closely with corporate departments to set up new accounts, collect COD payments, correct invoicing errors, etc.
  • Obtain purchase orders or payment for service work
  • Learn and manage warranty processes to close work orders
  • Create efficiencies in the work order process to close jobs promptly
  • Review work orders for accuracy after service is complete and close
  • Stay up to date with all programs used to manage work order processes.
  • Source, order and track parts daily
  • Work closely with supervisor to plan jobs based on parts arrival
  • Communicate with ordering parts from outside vendors by getting quotes, attaching them to work orders
  • Manage purchase orders for vendors
  • Work closely with the Riggs parts department to insure returns and cores are processed quickly


Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite software (Basic to Intermediate skill level)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge of BMTS and DBS

Required travel up to 10%. This position is considered safety sensitive.
