Our Medication Safety Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include ensuring and improving medication safety across all of QuVa. These services will be provided in compliance with federal and state regulations and QuVa's policies and procedures.Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. What the Medication Safety Clinical Pharmacist Does Each Day:

  • Conducts evaluations of inquiries, complaints, and adverse events to identify areas for improvement and implement interventions to reduce risk
  • Monitors and analyzes inquiries, complaints and adverse events and continuous quality-improvement data to identify trends and patterns, and work with interdisciplinary teams to prioritize safety issues and develop risk-reduction strategies
  • Correctly identifies customer product inquiry cases requiring targeted follow-up, determine relevant follow-up required and prepare follow-up queries
  • Coordinates complaint investigations
  • Remains current with cases handling SOPs, guidance documents and database technology
  • Maintains records of customer complaints and documentation in the complaint management system to ensure complaints are adequately resolved on time
  • Escalates complaints as per SOP, FDA, and BOP laws
  • Retrieves and ensures accurate and consistent information, including but not limited to, adverse event verbatim descriptions and medication data received from customers
  • Supports audits related to customer complaints

  • Has product/industry knowledge - pharmaceutical, large production compounding, medical, hospital environment

  • Is proactive and demonstrated initiative and accountability; uses time wisely
  • Is proficient with computers and word processing software (i.e., Microsoft Office products)
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
  • B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm D
  • 2+ years' relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of medication use-safe practices; Process Improvement methodologies (Lean and Six Sigma)
  • Excellent technical writing and verbal/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Processes)
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
