Role Description Keiser is looking for a very creative Machinist who can program CNC Mill/Lathe for Engineering and Manufacturing. This is a full-time on-site role located in Fresno, CA. This individual is mainly responsible for aiding the Mechanical Design Engineering Team in creating next-level product designs, that can outperform our current line of equipment and our competitors. Fast-paced machining, welding, and prototyping are essential for this position. Outstanding creativity in machining and welding is required. CNC programming or manual machining for Manufacturing is required as needed. Excellent work ethics and a flexible schedule are a must for this position. This position may be temp-to-hire using a third-party agency. Employees are evaluated after 90 days and offered a position with the company if they are meeting expectations. This is not a remote job. Our Headquarters is in Fresno, CA and the individual hired for this position would be required to be onsite. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS • Strong experience in CNC Mill/Lathe programming and/or operating • Strong manual machining skills are must • Strong framing and welding skills are required • Hands on Prototyping in area of Product Design preferred • Product Testing skills preferred • Good understanding of Manufacturing Processes is required • Good knowledge in computer-aided design (CAD) is preferred • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Strong attention to details • Good written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of Product safety and Compliance requirement is a plus • Enthusiasm in fitness equipment is a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • 1 years of experience as a CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer • 1 years of manual Mill/Lathe machining • 1 years of framing and welding • Trade or vocational school graduation preferred • Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools • Mechanical aptitude and ability • Strong computer skills • Physical dexterity • Good troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of health and safety regulations SCHEDULE • 8-hour day shift • Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required COMPENSATION • Non-Exempt position; Pay range: $20.00 - $35.00 an hour • Final compensation will be determined and based on experience • This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs, and other considerations permitted by law • Quarterly bonus option for most employees BENEFITS • Low premium cost medical and vision coverage for employees, with the option to add family members • Employer-paid Dental coverage for employees and family • Flexible Spending Account voluntary plan • Employer-paid Life Insurance/LTD • AFLAC voluntary plans • 401k with employer match • Paid Time Off (vacation, holiday, sick) Candidates for positions with Keiser Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
