Position Overview

This position is responsible for – assisting with all functions of the Equipment Sales and Service department by coordinating parts and service requests within a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent communication internally with sales and management, and externally with technicians and vendors.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for prompt communication with clients, including, preparing parts and service quotations, order entry, data entry, generating purchase orders, scheduling, monitoring of open parts order reports, service billing.
  • Work with the client so they understand any company requirements for them to receive superior customer service.
  • Uncover up selling sales needs, including follow-up calls to customers during marketing campaigns, providing spare parts kits quotes to all equipment customers, with a focus on generating additional business to the account.
  • Ship internal parts orders, maintain running inventory on mandatory items, re-ordering as required.
  • Receiving parts orders, generating RMAs, and returning parts to vendors.
  • Work with service technicians, vendors, and sales to ensure client’s needs are met in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for inventory control, reporting and maintaining technician car stock.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure all components needed for installations are ordered and all necessary tools have been shipped.
  • Involved in other duties and projects as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, some college or associate degree preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in a business environment
  • Strong business communication and organizational skills
  • Must be customer service focused with attention to detail.
  • Excellent phone skills and time management.
  • Speed with purpose and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not required.
