The Role:
Manages building and facilities operations. Monitors, operates, diagnose, and light repairs to HCAV, Chillers, and chilled water pumps. Supervises night shift rotation and night operations. Oversees the daily workflow , scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities department.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions.
Inspects building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations; recommends maintenance for mechanical, electrical and facility equipment and structures.
Supervise night shift facilities techs. Ensure task and duties are completed in a timely manner.
Works with the EHS manager to maintain inventory of chemicals needed for operations.
Monitor and operation of BMS systems for facility operations.
Understanding of Siemens and Allen Bradley components.
Ensure proper shift pass down reports to day shift leads and facilities assistant manager.
Monitor and operate of air handlers and HVAC equipment.
Monitor and operate YORK chillers.
Cooling tower monitor and operations
Reviews utilities consumption and advises on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinates system repairs and monitor system performance.
Maintains adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
Participates in equipment audits and record-keeping policies.
Maintains and ensures adherence to sanitation practices
Follows all standard operating procedures (SOP's) for area of responsibility.
Effectively responds to directions during emergencies by understanding emergency procedures, equipment and systems as necessary; Implements contingency plan to the level required.
Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste.

You bring:
5 year of facility management experience
Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner
Strong understanding of warehouse control systems
Ability to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation drawings
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, HVAC and chilled water systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and train others
Able to work independently as well as working within a team
Demonstrates attention to detail in their duties and record keeping
Takes initiative; proactive instead of reactive
Have the ability to write a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program
A Plus:
Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, or related field
Industry certifications
Bi-lingual with Spanish or German
