Senior Pursuit & Proposal Manager, Business Development (Contract Position)

At this time, we are not working with any agencies. Lincoln is seeking a temporary Senior Pursuit and Proposal Manager to cover a team member’s maternity leave from June 15 through September 15. This position calls for a thoughtful, creative professional with excellent project management, collaboration, and people skills. The ideal candidate is self-directed and poised in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares pursuit deliverables, including RFP responses and proposals, introductory and follow-up materials, pitch decks and presentations, and other deliverables to support new business development for development projects. Coordinates assignments and deadlines for development pursuit team; participates in conference calls and review sessions to keep projects on track and ensure high-quality deliverables are completed and submitted on time. Drives the implementation of established proposal development processes, procedures, and standards, and manages the proposal effort in coordination with the regional Marketing and Business Development leads, leading the proposal team made up of personnel/subject matter experts, partners/subcontractors, and consultants (if needed). Cross-checks final documents with RFPs and client requests to ensure all requirements have been met; completes final review of all content to ensure it is clear, consistent, and compelling.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: At least five years of related business development, sales, or marketing communications experience, with at least three of those working directly in B2B proposal management. Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience working in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Performs stated job responsibilities under minimal supervision. Pay Range
