Job Summary Responsible for the implementation technical vision and tactical direction of CX Reliability Engineering initiatives within the Planning and Implementation department. This is includes reliability investment and metrics, Network Engineering initiatives and Technology Recovery Program support. Implements business standards, goals, strategies, and objectives (within assigned areas) that are competitive with industry standards and strives to arrive at those goals. Works on cross-functional teams that will manage the strategic process transformation effort across all business lines for the Company. Develops and leads a team of project management professionals and assures work performance is in adherence to company and industry standards. Acts as a technical resource to management across the department and lateral departments. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Contributes to the development of the organization's business strategy. Interprets business strategy and develops organizational objectives to align with this strategy.

Job Description Core Responsibilities Assists in creating quarterly and annual budget and monitors and approves all expenditures and capital projects associated with the Engineering department. Plans and facilitates activities related to the preparation of capital and operating budgets and forecasts of operations; development, testing and any specialized needs. Communicates department strategies and objectives effectively within the department and across the organization. Delegates responsibilities and oversees operations to ensure strategies and objectives are being met in an organized and timely fashion. Monitors overall work processes and standard procedures to ensure performance is to company and industry standards. Stays knowledgeable of competition and important emerging technologies and standards. Establishes and develops staff through ongoing training programs, operational procedures, communication skills, policies, technical skills etc. Sets the reporting standards and then works with the Manager of Engineering to analyze reports for such issues as schedule completions for testing, spend levels for NRE costs, yearly license costs etc. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Contributes as a day-to-day working team member with the Reliability core team composed of TPX, CX and other Division leads Understands and interprets Division and Region-specific drivers of reliability issues and provide feedback on Division opportunities and needs to improve Reliability to program leadership Ensures Division & Regional leadership is regularly updated and given opportunity to provide feedback on Reliability initiative and component workstreams Assists with Divisional reliability-focused programs or initiatives as a Reliability SME and provide coordination of these initiatives back into HQ planning In alignment with HQ partners and Division leaders, raise visibility of program progress (highlighting wins, major upcoming milestones, progress on Reliability Top 3 Box rating and other internal reliability metrics) Works with Division and Region leaders to execute communications and learning initiatives to instill a Reliability-focused Culture and Mindset across the employee base Leverages NPS Best Practices to solicit feedback and provide input directly from customers Interacts closely with a matrixed cross-functional team (both field and corporate) to secure alignment and solution excellence. Works with our strategic implementation, communications, and field and call centers counterparts and identifies plans for change management, communication, and training needs. Reduces variation from processes so that simplification is obtained, and operational efficiencies are gained. Ensures clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics.
