What You Can Expect:

  • The shift for this position is days. There is a call component currently. Once off orientation the CST will be required to be on backup call one weekend every 6-7 weeks.
  • Position is an Endoscopy tech that helps with colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, bronchoscopy, manometry, pH metry cases with our local medical doctors.
  • This is a detailed position that requires understanding of patient safety, high level disinfection, clear communication with doctors and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licenses/Certifications: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) OR Tech in Surgery
  • Certified (CST-NCCT) by National Center Competency Testing (NCCT) AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
