Summary: This job is responsible for maintaining the stem cell transplant (SCT) and/or Immune Effector Cell program's Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) accreditation status by providing ongoing review and interpretation of FACT accreditation standards, coordination, support, quality monitoring, evaluation and consultation to the Experimental Therapeutics and/or SCT team and other organizational team members involved in the care and/or support of SCT and/or IEC patients. This role works in collaboration with the other internal Program Coordinator for FACT and the adult program at UTSW, as the program is jointly FACT-accredited. Responsibilities are system-wide related to assuring expectations are met related to written standards of Practice, which include, but are not limited to clinical care, environmental management and monitoring, completion of education and required competencies, etc. Responsibilities: * Maintain understanding of current standards, requirements and regulations of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and facilitate collaboration with the other internal Program Coordinator for FACT and the adult program at UTSW, as well as organizational compliance with these requirements. * Abstract data and complete data entry for CIBMTR requirements associated with Immune Effector Cell patients as applicable. * Educate leaders, staff, and medical staff, and other stakeholders on FACT accreditation process and requirements * Coordinate assessment, monitoring, and improvement activity associated with meeting applicable standards and requirements * Coordinate on-site surveys and mock surveys and consultations * Prepare and present reports on compliance status * Coordinate organization sustainability plan for ongoing readiness * Provide staff support to committees and work groups charged with FACT accreditation steering and oversight This is a full-time position. How You'll Be Successful: WORK EXPERIENCE * At least 4 years experience in a healthcare clinical or regulatory position Required EDUCATION * Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required * Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience Preferred LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS * Certification in Healthcare Quality Preferred A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
