Summary The Marine Account Manager is a critical position to help with the steady growth of the Marine Solutions Group. Within this role, you will be working directly with Utilities, EPCs and Developers of utility scale renewable energy projects within the territory to provide the full range of products and services available through City Electric Supply In this fast-paced position, the ideal candidate will need to be well organized and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied with the services and products supplied.

Your Objectives: Provide top notch customer service to all accounts within your name Build new relationships within the Marine Industry to boost overall branch revenue and profit Work with internal team to ensure quotes meet customer needs and requirements Stay engaged with quotes and things being requested by your customers Consistent communication with the internal team to ensure smooth and effective customer interface Work on large proposals for customers with the support of our internal team Provide Sales Reports to Business Development Manager Maintain a schedule/ itinerary for customer visits and share with internal team Set up and host face to face meetings with customers This includes cold calls, manufacturers lunch and learns, customer check ins, and customer follow ups Determine best approaches to market with existing and new accounts What Conferences and/ or sales shows would boost sales and customer relationships Learn new products that may help the customer and their teams better Learn the needs of customers through engagement to ensure you and our internal team recognizes all aspects of their business Work with Manufacturers to find alternative solutions for the customers for all equipment needed This role will be heavily interfacing with customers, engineering teams, and manufacturers to determine the best solutions necessary for the project requirements Ability to find alternative products through non-traditional avenues/ manufactures Set up meeting with manufacturers to discuss their offerings and how they could help us and the customer on their products. Provide feedback and information to the internal team to better support you and the customer

Essentials Skills & Experience: Previous Experience in Outside Sales – Marine Infrastructure and or Heavy Electrical is Preferred Ability to interface with a wide range of personalities and customer types Technical aptitude of components is preferred Must be a team player and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to help the team succeed High level of verbal and written communication Be well organized, highly motivated and be willing to learn new products Motivated self-starter Ability to engage with customer and internal team Be persistent, determined and focused on the overall goal of building business and driving new revenue and customers
