Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced full-time Supply Chain Coordinator with excellent communication and customer service skills to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters office. This position will serve as the primary contact for procurement needs; including processing orders, accounting, and delivery of purchases. Provide analytical reporting to Senior Manager of Supply Chain, CFO, Pharmacy Committee and Clinic Management. Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) + years experience in supply chain, shipping, receiving clerk, mail handling and reporting. Healthcare industry experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required. Ability and willingness to travel within Los Angeles County. Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work. If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid CA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required. About the position: Coordinate purchasing and order tracking Provide clerical support (screen incoming calls for department, distribute correspondences, maintain inventory of supplies) Provide support to receiving door, Inter office mail and delivering of materials to appropriate departments and/or individual(s). Schedule and organize meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes and agendas, and process/files forms. Manage packing slip retrieval. Perform data entry into supply inventory management system. Assists in the gathering of documentation from various data sources. Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolve shipments in error with suppliers and/or internal staff. Process returns with assistance of purchasing staff as assigned. Assist in sorting incoming mail and packages/parcels from the US Postal Service and various commercial carriers (UPS, Federal Express, Inter-office courier, etc.). Communicate with buyers to assist in the identification and resolution of issues associated with the procurement cycle. Wholesale and Pharmacy license tracking and management. Inventory and transfer management for non 340B meds. Responsible for monthly inventory reporting to Supply Chain Manager, CFO, Pharmacy Committee and Clinic Management. Responsible for compiling biweekly PPE and supply counts and issuing on a biweekly basis.
