The ideal candidate will have full-cycle high volume Receivables experience with general ledger, billing, and payment posting knowledge. • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Posts payments by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
• Seeking a hands-on individual who works independently, processing completed sales orders into ready to deliver customer invoices on our NetSuite ERP platform.
• Possess a clear understanding of the AIA construction billing and lien waiver processes, to include both progress payment and final payment activities.
• Load invoices onto customer payment applications and portals, to include Service Channel and SMS Assist.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
• Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
