Salary: $55,000-$60,000

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensures the FFCH program is meeting all of the requirements outlined by the funder through the network of providers.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, site visits, and technical assistance with providers through the support of the team.
  • Creates and implements a recruitment plan for participants and providers to ensure full enrollment at all times
  • Supervise a team of a Family Support Specialist and a Child Development Specialist that support with monitoring, training, and technical assistance with providers around CELS and OHS standards, through monthly individual reflective supervision, and weekly team meetings.
  • Responsible for hiring of staff and annual evaluation of staff performance
  • Monitors data entry into COPA, CSD CARES, and SchoolMint systems and acts as administrator for the program.
  • Completes and submits all agency and funder-required reports.
  • Organizes and facilitates Parent Policy Committee according to the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Ensures attendance at Citywide Parent Policy Council meetings.
  • Attends funder-required training and meetings.
  • Maintains inventory for program materials and equipment
  • Leads in the recruitment and onboarding of new providers
  • Handles the monetary and budgetary requirements for program activities
  • Participates in the development of program policies and procedures, service delivery plans and ongoing monitoring for continuous quality improvement.
  • Leads the annual self-assessment of the program.
  • Develop and implement any corrective action plans as needed to ensure continued compliance in all areas of Head Start Standards across all providers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must Have

  • Bachelor or advanced degree in child development, early childhood education, social work or related field.
  • Gateways level 5 ECE credential in the area of Early Childhood Education, Infant Toddler, or Family Specialist.
  • Can be attained after starting
  • At least 1 year of early childhood experience.
  • Experience within a family childcare (FCC) setting, Head Start, and working with the Department of Family Support Services Early Childhood is a plus.
  • Experience providing supervision and oversight of a team.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Must have a reliable car for transportation as well as a valid drivers license and automobile insurance.
