We are seeking a Dental Office Manager for a well-established private dental practice located in Solon, Ohio.

With a history spanning over 30 years, the practice is dedicated to providing high-quality preventative dentistry services to the community.

Operating in a private office setting with no managed care involvement, the practice boasts an impressive track record of almost no turnover.

Many of the employees have been part of the team for 10+ years. The practice values stability and expertise and is currently seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist/Office Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Position Overview:

In the role of Dental Receptionist/Office Manager, the selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the dental office, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining efficient office management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Reception: The Dental Receptionist/Office Manager will warmly greet patients, facilitate the check-in process, schedule appointments, manage patient records, and verify insurance information.
  • Appointment Scheduling: They will efficiently manage the appointment book, schedule appointments, and confirm patient appointments via phone or email.
  • Billing and Insurance: Responsibilities include coordinating billing processes, handling insurance claims, and assisting patients with insurance-related inquiries.
  • Patient Communication: The candidate will provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally responding to phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Office Management: The role involves maintaining a well-organized and clean office environment, ordering office supplies, managing inventory, and overseeing administrative tasks.
  • Financial Management: The Dental Receptionist/Office Manager will monitor and manage accounts receivable, track expenses, and prepare financial reports for the practice.
  • Team Collaboration: They will work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow, coordinate treatment plans, and foster a harmonious and productive work atmosphere.
  • Compliance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Problem Solving: Handling patient complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism, seeking resolutions to ensure patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dental office or medical receptionist role is advantageous.
  • The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential.
  • Proficiency in dental office software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance procedures and billing processes is a plus.
