Description

Our established dental office location in Thornton, Colorado, near 136th and Colorado Blvd is adding a Dental Patient Coordinator to work full-time, Monday-Thursday at our fast paced, friendly office. We seek an experience Dental Front Office Coordinator for our busy family practice. This is a full-time position working Monday-Thursday from 7:45 am -5:15 pm. We have a strong, supportive team and need someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We are asking the Dental Front Office Coordinator to have one or more years of experience in the Dental field.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history
  • Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
  • Answer calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and an understanding of the breakdown of benefits
  • Review treatment plans and financials with patients
  • Assisted with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules were packed and scheduled appropriately.
  • Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
  • Update necessary documents into Denticon
  • Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments
  • Additional duties as needed, such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office
Requirements
  • 1 or more years experience in a Dental front office setting
  • Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
  • Reliable, hard working, and passionate about customer service and working with a team
  • CPR Certification
  • Medical/Dental Scheduling
  • Insurance Verificaiton knowledge
  • Denticon PMS experience is a PLUS, but not requred
