Central Carolina Hospital, along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to work with our team in Labor and Delivery. With more than 120 physicians and more than 600 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capitol, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg Military base. Our facility will allow you to use, sharpen and add to your nursing skills without having to commute to a large city environment.
As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in Labor and Delivery utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family. Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate. Assists throughout the labor and birthing process.
**Qualifications**
* Training commensurate with RN licensure, required. 1 year of experience in a health care setting, required.
* Must have current Registered Nurse Licensure.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification according to CCH policy. ACLS and PALS certifications, preferred.
* Basic computer skills, preferred. Must be able to work on smoke-free campus. Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations, required.
