The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Material Handler, working in Oil and Gas industry in Jacksonville, 32221.

  • Operate forklift to ensure movement and/or packaging of materials within the facility.
  • Record/scan/key work orders to ensure that materials can be properly tracked during the production process.
  • Perform additional production/warehousing duties as assigned under close supervision.
  • Require some problem recognition and solution selection among predetermined alternatives.
  • Follow simplified or highly patterned processes
  • Solid office or technical knowledge and skills, acquired through prior training and/or experience.
  • Job-related interaction primarily with peers and supervisor.
  • Well-defined work method.
  • Errors have limited impact.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Typically requires at least 1 year experience in unloading / loading inbound and outbound trailers.
  • Ability to open small and large containers.
  • Must be able to lift maximum of 35 lbs.
  • Good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
  • Limited interaction with internal / external customers.
  • Work requires some organization of predetermined principles.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Sets up, monitors and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
  • May operate multiple machines simultaneously.
  • May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
