Come grow with us Responsibilities: Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by exhibiting safe behaviors Transport a variety of freight (including paper products, corrugated material, and household goods) within a 250-mile radius of Biron-Wisconsin Rapids, WI Inspect equipment for mechanical issues and safety concerns and report any defects Maneuver tractors and trailers into loading or unloading positions Transport equipment to local service center(s) to perform preventative maintenance Document and log work/rest periods and notate mileage Retain all paperwork, including BOL's, POD's, and fuel/toll receipts Comply with all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations (e.g. size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) along with all company policies and procedures Immediately report any accidents or violations to appropriate company personnel Benefits: Starting pay $24 per hour Safety/performance bonus Local deliveries, home daily Mon-Fri, 2 Saturdays a month Live load and unload Late model equipment Annual performance raises Paid holidays and vacation 401k with company match Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and AD&D insurance available Requirements: At least 23 years of age Valid Class A CDL Valid DOT medical certificate At least 1 year of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience Proven record of safety and reliability No more than 3 moving violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Willing to submit to background/drug screenings The ability to work weekends from time to time based on business needs.
