Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Production Specialist – Imagery Analyst, Senior as part of join the team!


Specific Responsibilities

  • Performing GEOINT analysis of underground facilities (UGFs) and command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) facilities and networks, and target materials production (TMP).
  • Support of mission or customer driven requirements.
  • Applies GEOINT tradecraft expertise to build, process, and/or analyze a wide variety of geospatial data in order to create GEOINT products or services ranging from geographically focused foundational, target materials to intelligence production products and services.
  • TMP production specialists are required to support NGA's functional management and target materials production. Activities involve feature extraction using monoscopic, feature analysis, feature validation, installation and facilities characterization and delineation tradecraft, Geospatially Enabled Target Material (GETM) creation and collection, target materials production, and quality control processes, and data entry. Activities also involve data acquisition, data evaluation, data analysis, data application, quality control/assurance and product finishing.
  • Production specialists are expected to possess knowledge of intermediate and targeting development processes and to address QA/QC trend analysis findings, recurring training, and production issues.
  • Extract data using analytic software (ArcPro, ArcGIS, iSPY) to drive assessments.
  • Provide spatial analysis intended to improve quality of data models identifying military facilities in rural areas.
  • Analyze data sets for spatial patterns, provide updates to predictive models, assess accuracy of existing models.
  • Provide human-in-the-loop feedback to data scientists to assess accuracy of data models.
  • Test results from current models against updated data sets to verify results.
  • Coordinate with GEOINT analyst to draft one-page report accompanying polygons with identified facilities.
  • Participate in team retrospectives to implement lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, and next steps for iterative processes.
Requirements:
  • Completed an Imagery Analysis Curriculum through the Military or Intelligence Community.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with national and service, intelligence agencies/centers.
  • Strong knowledge in the tasking of overhead intelligence collection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of NTM, airborne, and civil/commercial sensors providing hardcopy and softcopy imagery including historical imagery.
  • Strong knowledge of digital data including but not limited to, commercial imagery, NTM, airborne, motion and full motion imagery, panchromatic data, spectral data, and SAR data.
  • Strong knowledge of Manual light tables and electronic light tables functionalities.
  • Working knowledge of systems and software programs such as: RemoteView, Socet GXP, ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, ArcPro.
  • 3-5 years of intelligence analysis experience in the Intelligence Community or military commands at the national and tactical levels.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills with an ability to present and discuss technical and procedural aspects of imagery software.

Travel

  • Up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required for training and program activities.
