Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onsite Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate survey field crews onsite at the client location. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively liaise between clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. This role is pivotal in accurately translating survey data and project specifications into detailed construction computations, supporting the successful execution of various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Field Crew Coordination: Manage and coordinate 1 to 5 survey field crews onsite, ensuring they adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  2. Construction Computations: Interpret survey data, engineering drawings, and project specifications to accurately draft construction computations using Civil D software.
  3. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients onsite, addressing inquiries, providing progress updates, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  4. Contractor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with contractors to facilitate seamless communication and coordination, ensuring project objectives are met according to specifications.
  5. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including field reports, progress updates, and other relevant records. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders as needed.
  7. Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges or obstacles that may arise during project execution and work collaboratively with teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
  8. Team Support: Provide guidance, support, and training to field crews as needed, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


Qualifications



  • Strong understanding of construction computations, and surveying techniques.
  • Experience in Civil3D or Carlson Survey
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
