$52.11-$86.81 per hour, based on RN Degree and level of experience

  • Coordinate evaluation and waiting list needs with the inter-disciplinary team; assistCoordinate evaluation and waiting list needs with the inter-disciplinary team; assist with coordination of urgent inpatient multi-organ (SLK, SHK) evaluations; provide initial and ongoing transplant specific patient/family education; participate in pre-transplant clinics and outreach to dialysis units and referring groups as assigned; facilitate referrals to other health care professionals; triage and respond to patient phone calls, My Chart and RightFax requests; assess potential or actual patient health problems, recognizing and responding to emergent situations; document according to established policies and procedures.
  • Collect and evaluate existing lab, diagnostic, and consult results to determine if any additional data is needed for determining transplant candidacy.
  • Coordinate, collect, and evaluate update testing. Waitlist management. Monitor on-going patient results, presenting abnormal results to the physician for review; execute physicians’ orders, seeking clarification as needed.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement changes in the nursing process as it relates to transplant; assume responsibility for professional/job related development; incorporate quality improvement practices into performance.


Responsibilities

  • Associate of Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
  • *BSN preferred *Associate Degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program with 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire
  • Minimum 3-5 years recent acute-care hospital nursing (at time of hire).
  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license.
  • Obtain unencumbered Washington RN license within 2 months of hire date.
  • Obtain unecumbered RN licenses in additonal states, as needed for program, per leadership.
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
