DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are currently searching for a Business Intelligence Report Developer. This role will create reporting that transforms raw data into meaningful visuals that align with strategic goals. The individual in this role must be experienced with using SQL programming language, Business Intelligence tools, such as SSRS and Power BI and able to clearly communicate with stakeholders.

DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Tennessee Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  1. Collaborates closely with the BI Team to gather and analyze reporting requirements and develop visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using BI Tools to meet stakeholders’ requirements.
  2. Utilizes SQL programming to extract, manipulate and transform data from various sources to support reporting needs.
  3. Ensures data accuracy, consistency and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
  4. Provides insight into the rationale behind the design of visualizations, explaining how they address specific requirements and provide valuable insight.
  5. Offers expertise and guidance on understanding and interpreting reports and dashboards effectively.
  6. Creates and maintains working documentation on new and existing reports and dashboards.
  7. Maintains working knowledge of business processes and key metrics used in organizational operations and assists departments with use of available information to improve performance.
  8. Acts as a role model for all DCIDS by supporting, reinforcing, and exhibiting behaviors consistent with the DCIDS core values; selfless, hard-working, passionate, and dependable.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related discipline OR equivalent experience in a related position.
  • 2 years’ experience in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL Programming
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality reporting solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively on a high functioning team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service and be able to work independently without direct supervision, while still being able to collaborate with the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
