About the Role:

The Cargo Risk team has the opportunity and responsibility to make decisions in the best interest of TQL when it comes to evaluating high risk scenarios/commodities. As a member you will be responsible for supporting the sales floor by providing issue resolution, risk management, and excellent customer service. What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze current risks and identifying potential risks that impact freight transport
  • Explaining risk to relevant audiences. (Educating sales teams about the most significant risks to their customer’s freight; ensuring they understand the risks; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability)
  • Purchase insurance
  • Conduct policy and compliance audits
  • Create policy plans to limit risks based on audit findings.
  • Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company

What you need:

  • At least 2 years of related professional experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to understand broader business issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
