Overview

RES is currently accepting applications for the position of Client Solutions Associate in our Milwaukee, WI, Brodhead, WI or Chicago, IL offices.

The Client Solutions Associate position is designed to be an initial entry point into the RES Sales team and plays a major function in supporting the pursuit of RES new business opportunities and execution of RES’s growth strategy.

This role is focused on assisting the sales team in the identification and evaluation of potential projects for clients, building the top of the sales pipeline, and compiling and developing critical client deliverables. This will enable RES to deliver comprehensive ecological restoration and water resource solutions to the clients.

You will be also working on building your own professional network as you will be assisting and directly contributing to the sales process as well.

You will be part of a collaborative team that works in an office setting but also spends some time on the road. This is a team that is ready to support your training and development and expects you to be a detail-oriented self-starter able to work with ambiguity.



Responsibilities

60% of your time, you will be working on the project deliverables, assisting other Sales team members. You will be reaching out to new clients and partners over the phone and via email, setting and attending client meetings, crafting presentations and maps, producing impact/offset analyses, qualifications packages, white papers, proposals, and other key client deliverables. You will be using the entire package of Microsoft Office for that, so extensive experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro is required.

40% of your time you will be researching the new opportunities through market research and leads at the direction of the Sales Team, and building your own professional network. You will be also engaging with existing clients to identify uncovered needs for ecological restoration solutions, so be prepared to showcase your communication skills during the interview!



Qualifications

  • BS/BA and/or 1+ years of applicable professional experience
  • An outgoing, competitive personality and comfortability with meeting new people
  • Ability to work with different dynamic teams responsible for various disciplines within project development that contribute to RES solution development

What will make you stand out?

  • Direct working experience with RES key client sectors (energy, oil, gas, transportation, utilities)
  • Experience in industries such as environmental, mitigation, stormwater, Engineering, Project Development, Regulatory or NGO
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations including NPDES, CEQA, NEPA, ESA
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills
  • Established client and channel partner network and some sales experience
  • Strong problem solving skills for developing solutions to complex client issues
