Defense Critical Mission/Critical Asset Risk Management Analyst

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
ANSER is seeking a senior analyst for Defense Critical Mission and Defense Critical Asset Risk Management who will support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P)), Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Defense Continuity and Mission Assurance (DC&MA). The analyst will:

  • Provide technical analysis and assistance in identification, analysis, and collaborative solution development concerning issues that impact DoD and national Critical Infrastructure required for successful execution of DoD missions and operations.
  • Develop and present briefings to, and craft succinct written products for the highest levels of DoD leadership on a range of issues affecting Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) and Defense Critical Missions.
  • Utilize, and improve, MA processes and procedures for the identification of mission-critical infrastructure to enable development of strategic risk management recommendation for submission to the Deputy Secretary of Defense.
  • Collaborate with organizations across DoD, the broader federal government, and the commercial and private sectors to enable strategic risk management of critical DoD missions.
  • Support coordination for and facilitate the Mission Assurance Coordination Board (MACB) to provide essential information for strategic risk management decisions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 10 years' experience in fulfillment of tasks outlined above.
  • Top Secret (SCI eligible) clearance required.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to produce analytically based recommendations and decision products for senior leaders that represent client-coordinated equities using expertise in multi domain security.
  • Expertise in critical infrastructure protection, research, strategy analysis, program guidance, implementation analysis, operational planning, or related matters and ability to produce analytically based recommendations and decision products for senior leaders that represent client-coordinated equities.
  • Ability to ensure strategic excellence: (i.e., ability to apply and translate portfolio specific expertise into senior decision making support that furthers organization's strategic priorities and objectives. Ability to clearly communicate technical expertise to strategic level, non-expert decision maker / leaders).
  • 10 or more years' specialized experience and expertise working issues related to national security policy, or critical infrastructure protection issues for a U.S. Government Department or Agency.
  • Ability to work within high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams: (i.e., works well in formal and informal teams by developing productive relationships with counterparts, disseminating information and collaborating with counterparts across DoD and the interagency).
  • Experience with the Mission Assurance Risk Management System (MARMS)
