Overview

A Quality Manager, or Quality Assurance Manager, oversees the process to ensure that all services/products meet consistent standards. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control inspections, inspecting services/products at various sites, and working closely with clients to ensure that the final products meet their needs and requirements.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Personnel: Oversee workers engaged in activities to ensure continuous control over equipment, facilities, services, and products through intermediate personnel.
  • Conduct Inspections: Perform routine and non-routine inspections of all sites within the assigned district or areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Interpret and Act on QC Results: Interpret quality control results, compare them to established specifications, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Verify SOP Compliance: Ensure all standard operating procedures conform to established quality standards and meet customer/client specifications.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete documentation necessary to support GoSpotCheck, including HSE Assessments (first aid, employee refusal, site risk assessment, first aid, ladder, near miss), Job Safety Analysis, or inventory forms.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Train Staff: Instruct staff in quality control and analytical procedures through comprehensive training programs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with HHPC Healthy High-Performance Cleaning (Diversey) standards.
  • Implement Safety/Cleaning Practices: Plan and implement safety and cleaning practices by involving all employees in an effective program. This includes providing training, periodic review of hazards, and timely correction of hazardous situations.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Ability to interpret and act on quality control results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in documentation and reporting
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality control or related field
  • Experience with HHPC Healthy High-Performance Cleaning (Diversey)
  • Familiarity with GoSpotCheck or similar software tools
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Working Conditions:

  • This role may require frequent travel to various sites within the assigned district or areas.
  • Ability to work in different environments and adapt to varying conditions.
  • Must be able to conduct inspections and training sessions effectively.

Physical Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to:

  • Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments.
  • Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day.
  • Standing for extended periods of time
