We are looking for a Family Support Partner who must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public policy, public health, or public administration required
  • Masters degree preferred, in social work, public policy, public health, or public administration
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in applied social science, public policy, or public health evaluation with increasing responsibility and experience managing staff and leading large projects.
  • Experience working with DJJ, DCF, and ACHA
  • Must have a valid drivers license, ability to use a personal vehicle for work purposes, and appropriate vehicle insurance.

The qualified candidate will be able to perform the following tasks:

  • Assist youth and caregiver(s) in accessing and navigating services to support them in providing a stable placement.
  • Develop relationships with public and private service providers as well as with the Lead Agency, Case Management Organizations, court system, and other stakeholders.
  • Work independently and as a team member to create innovative ways to meet goals and provide a high level of service that is engaging and meets the needs of the participants.
  • Develop expertise knowledge of the different social service systems including eligibility requirements, services offered, and the application process.
  • Integrate Motivational Interviewing, Safety Planning, and Trauma Informed Care into service provision.
  • Provide on-call and crisis response services as needed.
