The Renewable Operations Manager - Solar will be the operational expert and program owner for solar renewable generation at MEC. This role provides leadership to direct solar strategies, operations, and field personnel for all MidAmerican solar generation facilities. Focuses on safe and effective utilization of the workforce, enhancing generation availability, effective management of all available resources to meet the needs and demands of renewable generation, investigation and implementation of cost-savings and value enhancing opportunities, development of supervisory staff and investigating procedures, implementing changes and leading teams to achieve consistent practices. Establishes and implements business objectives, HPI tools, strategies and plans to achieve consistent, safe, efficient, environmentally compliant and cost-effective renewable-powered electrical generation.
