The Market Research Intern position offers a challenging, real world, business experience, conducting in-depth market research for a leading National General Contractor in collaboration with a Business Unit leader and other Regional partners. Demonstrate your intellectual curiosity conducting primary and secondary source research, development of industry and company profiles and performing other qualitative analysis, as you gain valuable industry knowledge and exposure to the construction industry in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform extensive data gathering of prospective targets and markets via primary and secondary source research (ex. Healthcare Construction Market)
  • Assist in the development of a pipeline of companies in a variety of Austin area construction markets
  • Analyze qualitative data to uncover industry, company, and market trends
  • Participate in the creation of written profiles and market summaries to present to Austin and Austin Business leadership.
  • Participate in team and partner meetings to collaborate on research findings
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in BA/BS or Masters level degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field.
  • Proficiency in Internet research, CRM, HubSpot, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated interest in business research as shown through coursework or professional experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
  • Proven ability to take initiative on projects
  • Solution focused problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys working on a team as well as independently
