Senior Director, Global Corporate Communications

Job Description:

The Role:

Entegris is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Director, Global Corporate Communications to lead the development and execution of our global corporate communication strategy. This highly strategic and critical role will be responsible for providing communications expertise and leadership for external stakeholders and internally for Entregris' 8,000 team members across the globe.

 What You’ll Do:

Strategy Support & Implementation:

  • Leverage creativity and innovation to develop, evangelize, and execute an integrated communications strategy and plan, consisting of internal and executive communications as well as a global media relations strategy and broad-based reputation building activities.

  • Partner directly with the C-Suite and other senior executives on strategic messaging.

  • Support a cadence of regular communications so that internal and external stakeholders are inspired and engaged in the Entegris narrative.

  • Leverage both traditional and innovative new channels to deliver messages in an authentic, effective way.

  • Create a steady stream of content across multiple channels to help internal stakeholders understand what is happening within their division/region as well as the broader Entegris organization.

  • Collaborate with Global HR, Corporate Marketing, Investor Relations and Digital Marketing and Talent Acquisition & Development teams to support broad-based employee- and manager-engagement programs.

Provide Support to Executive, Division, and Regional Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and thoughtfully conceived strategic consultation for Entegris’ internal and executive communications.

  • Guide corporate communication and engagement plans for key business deliverables/projects.

  • Design communication tools / vehicles tailored to the unique needs of each division and region.

  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with the C-Suite and other senior leaders throughout the global organization.

Support and Develop an Innovative Suite of Internal Communication Vehicles:

  • Develop relationships and work as a team with internal and external partners to develop a cadence of ongoing global corporate communications messages that inspire and engage.

  • Lead the development of publications, leadership communiques, Town Hall Meetings, videos (including overseeing production), Intranet, and other informative and engaging communication vehicles.

  • Create a diversified, multichannel approach aimed at reaching office and manufacturing employees around the world.

  • Act as editor-in-chief of the Ensider, the Entegris internal news intranet.

Manage external communications:

  • Manage PR agency and work to develop media relations strategies that positively impact Entegris’ reputation among our key external stakeholders.

  • Act as core team member for M&A activity, including driving communications and content creation.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of communications through networking, surveys, and informal means.

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and expertise in corporate communications, identifying best-in-practice approaches we can adopt at Entegris.

  • Participate as a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Council and provide strategic messaging support for the annual publication of the company’s CSR report.

  • Partner with legal counsel and senior leadership to ensure the company is prepared to respond quickly and effectively to crises as defined in the company’s Crisis Management Plan.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in multidisciplinary and corporate communications within a multi-national organization.

  • Exceptionally strong writing skills as well as expertise in AP Style

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization to achieve business objectives.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Natural curiosity and interest to learn the business.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the full range of corporate communication vehicles and an awareness of the value of each to deliver desired messages most effectively.

  • Proven expertise in developing/deploying communication tools and vehicles for managing organizational communications effectively.

  • Proven content development skills targeting a variety of audiences.

  • Strong project management, stakeholder management and change management skills with the ability to deliver results and meet deadlines.

  • Bias for action and solutions, ability to drive team work to completion.

  • Capacity to manage ambiguity and competing priorities.
